BaseCamp Ventures targets companies with solid management teams,
a potential to fill substantial market needs, and a broad technology base.
We look to fund companies who are applying Internet technology to
improve productivity and business processes in existing markets,
companies which are developing software products which further enable
the Internet to deliver mission critical enterprise applications (Internet
infrastructure software, COS), and companies who provide direct project
development work in the fortune 500 space.
Key Components:
1. Industry Focus - Applied internet technology, Internet Infrastructure
2. Growth Potential - Projected revenue of at least $50M in 5 years
3. Investment Size - typically $500,000, but will take the lead on
investments of $2-5 million.
4. Stage of Development - Management: 4-6 full time employees with
experience in the target market
5. Headquarters located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States
